This is a 4-floor pendant lamp in white lacquer by artist Gisela Stiegler from her series ‘Lampenfieber’, a body of work where she re-purposes polystyrene fish,- and market boxes to create art-light objects and installations. Gisela Stiegler is a sculptor and fine-artist whose main raw material to work with has been polystyrene for around 10 years. She creates minimalist yet expressive and impressive sculptural pieces and forms, adding lacquer and color with a distinct sensibility [see Gisela’s artist folder for more of her sculptural works]. The lamps make an art and architectural statement in space framing and connecting its contents. Unlit during day the pieces appear like sculptures floating in space, while at night the lamps become a warm and athmospheric lightsource. We can work flexible and create bespoke sizes and pieces in various colours. Also wall-panel lamps are available.
