ARTIST STATEMENT
"The first version of this bench was created in 2013. Since then, I’ve made several variations—each unique but rooted in the same concept: a sculptural, aerodynamic piece where the ends extend like airplane wings. It is structurally robust, made with thick wood and stone, and suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
This particular version features a lighter stone, allowing for a subtle, dynamic movement when seated at the edges. Its base remains raw and heavy—preserving the natural fracture of the stone—while the form elevates into something light and delicate, echoing flight.”
