MORNING STAR, is a fascinating coffee table, mixing various materials, such as found footage or ready
mades, and also the designers’ acclaimed and manipulated, signature plastic bottle waste pieces. Here the artist adds 32 handmade bronze flowers to create a jewel-like piece. All the flowers are handmade in the lost wax casting technique.
We exhibited the table in the MAD New York (Museum of Art and Design) in their blockbuster exhibition “NEW TERRITORIES - Contemporary Design and Craft in Latin America”, in 2015. It is also in the exhibition catalogue.
