Two rhombus-shaped concrete tables or stools that can nest or slide into each other providing for various nice constellations. You can sit in one, while the other is used to place your food or work or book. The pieces are hand-cast with a terrazzo technique. Various colour schemes can be made bespoke.
Stefan Buxbaum (b. 1971) studied sculpture at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna and has been working across the fields of sculpture, design, and furniture since 2003. He lives and works in eastern Austria.
Concrete is his material of choice, through which he continuously challenges both the qualities and limitations of the medium to remarkable effect. In particular, he is recognised for his exceptional mastery of concrete casting techniques.
