LAS ÁNIMAS - CORTEX 1 - for TOT COR PROJECTS
Córtex I is a hand-crafted resin sculpture created by the creative duo Las Ánimas (Trini Salamanca and Pablo Párraga) in collaboration with TotCor Project and plastic artist Pepa Reverter. The piece is created by using rotational moulding techniques. It is a hybrid piece, blending design, art and craftsmanship, and forms part of a limited edition series within the TotCor Art Edition collection. It is a unique piece, complex to produce due to its shapes and volumes, with numerous recesses, protrusions and hollows that complicate the working process. It is the first piece in the limited edition of 5 units. Although it is unique in the sense that each piece in the series is different in colour.
